Registration Weirdness?

I have a voice saved in the User area. I loaded it into the Right2 slot. Then I saved a registration.

When I load the registration and hit the button, the voice doesn't load. Instead for the name, there are just a string of dashes.

The voice is "Wah Harp".

Has anyone seen this sort of behavior? Any idea what it might be?

Hi Michael,

The voice "WahHarp" is from the "Country Musician" Premium Pack. The voice has the (fixed) Yamaha Voice Number #104-001-023 (MSB=104 / LSB=1 / MIDI ProgramChange=22).

If you only have the corresponding voice set file "WahHarp" (full file name probably is "WahHarp.S079.vce") in the User drive, but the mentioned "Country Musician" pack is not installed, the voice cannot be loaded properly. (Genos2 may then choose another "similar" voice instead.) In any case, the lack of the required Expansion voice is probably the reason that when you call up the registration in question, only dashes are displayed instead of the voice name.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris
