Playlist SX900 on Genos 2?

Dear All,
I'm thinking of buying a Genos 2.
Can I transfer the platlist from the SX900 this way?
I have the playlist and register all on USB and not in the SX900 itself

Genos2 has a brand new playlist of around 1600 song suggestions some with full registrations. Don't think you will need the SX900 one.

Hi Flupke,

I haven't tried it myself yet. But registrations from older models can usually be loaded onto newer models.

So Genos2 should be able to load SX900 registrations. Maybe another user here can confirm compatibility. If you want to use the new features of Genos2, you will have to adapt/revise the registrations anyway.

Registrations from SX700/900 cannot go to Genos. I assume it's the same thing with Genos2. I will try it soon.
The solution is to convert them with Yamaha Registration Manager.

Hi Chris, loading (my own) playlist from the SX900 into the G2 is in itself no problem. One can see the playlist, but when you want to load a single song of the playlist, you get an error: 'Data has not been loaded properly'. So their is needed some tweaking. I guess it's quite better to tweak them again on the G2, with all the strenghts of the Genos 2! Remember that the Register Memory also saves the new functions: Midi(setting) and 3 Assignable buttons etc.  It's a part of the game ..Jm2c
