ePianos have it for 5 UK grand, that's a lot of mooolahh!

Danny1972

Actually that may look like a bargain as Bonners has it for even more, lowest they have it is £5299...  :o

It may be worth waiting till next year when I think the prices will settle around that Thomann £4400 mark or so.

£5000+ is a lot.

Heck, for the difference you can currently buy Komplete 14 Ultimate! That's a LOT of sounds, a LOT of engineering work you are getting (if you have a PC/Mac to run it).

£4999 one in stock get it tomorrow!!

Wow thanks for posting that, there's some mad competition going on !!! I doubt it would be easy to get one so soon. Even £4399 is too much, I was expecting/hoping for £3999 the base package, which means putting a Genos1 towards it would leave maybe around half or so to pay. That's not going to happen with this crazy 5k+ prices.

When Genos1 came out it was around the £4800 mark. You have to realize that six years have past and everything around you has increased in price so Genos2 at £5300 is what you would expect. Like always you have to shop around.

On reflection, that is a good point and I agree with this. Yes I said it's pricey but I should have realised this. I bought my G1 last year and I paid £4299 for it new, and that's for a 5 year old keyboard at the time. Eileen, if you don't mind me asking, where will you get yours from? If you don't want to say here then maybe PM me?

I figured the Price would have been £5700, figuring in for yearly 3% inflation (last year at 8%).
Looks like Yamaha is holding down the cost to me.

Anybody know what the total polyphony is on the Hen2?

For me, the goal is to keep growing/learning.

If I understand this correctly, it's 256 --- from a German site:

Apparently Thoralf already has his Genos 2 at home, and also does a side by side comaprison to an actual DX7.
