iPad power interface

My expensive IPAD USB charging interface has stopped allowing charging, I don't know if this is an IOS update problem or it's just faulty,

Does anyone know of an alternative to the expensive Apple products,

Upgrade to IOS 16.5.1 they fixed the charging problem, that the last upgrade created.

I did purchase a new one and of course that didn't work either. I returned it, after all it was Apple's fault anyway!

When I saw this I checked the OS on mine and it was 16.3 rather than 16.5, despite my having it set to auto update. Have now done it manually. Wonder why it is not updating automatically?

You're better off doing it manually!

That way you can do i t when convenient for you.

Hi i've lost my Ipad with the update 16.5; it was stuck on the rebboot mode all the time; hardware probleme; i've had the same probleme with my Iphone 6; ive had put no update on my ipad, but Apple system have made the update and my Ipad wasn't compatible with this update!  Apple must make something for us to prevent all these problemes! Bad hardware! But my Ipad was 3 years age! Too old for Apple; I've bought a new one! Everything is working again but know i've to by some new accessories as we've now the USB type C connector! Apple, Apple, Apple, ...... All the best Patrick
