Hello, i hope you're fine. I've got a question related to Velocities in midi and style files.

I have some midi files which sound good but the drums (i.e. toms) are at 127...and it is certainly not close to a real drummer...I wonder whether there's a software that can "humanize" these velocities, i.e. Right tom 125, Floor tom 120 and so on. Not one by one but some kind of algorithm.

Thanks in advance

Luis.

HI Luis,

You can do that with the MixMaster program.
Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login

Open MIDI/Style > Note View > Copy/Paste/Delete/Select > Select specific note > Select the elements you want to change > OK > Process/Edit > Change Velocity of selected note > Select Value or Percent > OK
