You need so called volume pedal for that.
I have it, but I must say, that I'm not using it as much as I thought I would. The thing is, to use it meaningful, is not as easy as one might think. What I mean by "meaningful"? Please, listen to this video and pay attention to organ playing -to sound like that, it requires a LOT of practicing.
Volume pedal can be used for any voice (instrument), but in my opinion, it will only sound "natural" for organ and some woodwind instruments. The volume/loudness of other instruments is better controlled (sounds more natural) with keyboard touch sensitivity: the harder we hit the key, the louder it is.
Of course, depending on setting on keyboard, with volume/expression pedal we can also control many other effects (not only volume).

I'm telling you all that, because volume/expression pedal is quite expensive and so you get an impression of what to expect.

madirv,

This is what I use for volume control as well as other things.

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/FC7--yamaha-fc7-volume-expression-pedal?mrkgadid=1000000&mrkgcl=28&mrkgen=gdsa&mrkgbflag=0&mrkgcat=studio&recording&acctid=21700000001645388&dskeywordid=39700065017603475&lid=39700065017603475&ds_s_kwgid=58700007231540659&device=c&network=s&matchtype=&adpos=largenumber&locationid=9002168&creative=537361853889&targetid=dsa-1385849841050&campaignid=13710079600&awsearchcpc=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrtG5scP7-wIVDbLICh1T2Q4dEAAYASAAEgJ1jPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I also use this for piano Sustain

https://www.sweetwater.com/c520--Key_Pedal?highlight=FC4A&mrkgadid=&mrkgcl=28&mrkgen=&mrkgbflag=&mrkgcat=&acctid=21700000001645388&dskeywordid=92700073384080333&lid=92700073384080333&ds_s_kwgid=58700008069260214&ds_s_inventory_feed_id=97700000007215323&dsproductgroupid=1852936823967&product_id=FC4A&prodctry=US&prodlang=en&channel=online&storeid=&device=c&network=u&matchtype=&adpos=largenumber&locationid=9002168&creative=625135836142&targetid=pla-1852936823967&campaignid=18467073267&awsearchcpc=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIq4H94sP7-wIVE7bICh28AglKEAQYASABEgLnavD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I use this for registration changes.

And I use this for many other operations like triggering Fills and Breaks, Art. 1,2 and 3, fade out, screen page turning up and down.

Hope this helps,

... pedal to change registrations it struck me that 2 pedals might be a good idea...
Actually, I think having two sustain (switch) pedals is not a bad idea at all and can be quite useful at playing music. Depending on how you assign them on keyboard(see reference manual page 117), for example, one for registration up and one for registration down.. or one for registration and one for sustain, etc.

Rick D----Just looked at the photo-----looks as though you could man a spacecraft to Mars  with that lot ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

LOL, that's funny!
I actually got the MFC-10 from a member of this group years ago. I like using it as I don't have to take my hands off the keyboard.
Yamaha has discontinued this for some reason, not sure why, I love it.

I use two FC5 Pedals,
You can get them from Amazon quite reasonable in price. K use one for adding drum fills.
