There's the love at the first time my child looked at me and said "dadda";
There's the love when I first looked in the eyes of my future wife and knew she's The One;
And then there's the love the first time I started this Genos and listened to the incredible depth of sound and ease of function, and the anticipation of many future times spent with this lovable creature.

Congrats!

Hi Tyrosrick,
I got mine on Friday,
Finding my way around it before I try it out at one of my gigs.
Wow what a great sound this beast has
Enjoy.

I dreamed of some kind of supersynth since 1985, the first keyboard came in 1989.. It was a Fujitone 3a, from a second hand store, and I was able to try it only some time after it was taken away from the store, when I had bought batteries. The experience was horrible, I had buried big bucks in there and it sounded like a quacking duck. However, it was my first arranger keyboard and I started playing on it.
In the meantime, there have been a few more instruments.
Genos arrived to me in December 2020, this is my first TOTL keyboard. Until now, I had been climbing the cliff, from the mud to the sky, taking a few leaps over time as far as I could afford.
  When Genos arrived, I felt like I should have had this instrument all along. I had been waiting for this shipment for 35 years. However, all this time I had the necessary electricity at home.

I have actually dozed off while playing (keys and videogames). I guess some things really are muscle memory
Essentially like this SNL skit: (JT as Bon Iver plays himself to sleep around the 6min mark of the sketch)

I imagine you have the only Genos on your island, so that should make you a celebrity  ;) I am pretty certain you will be our only forum member from there.
I have thought about visiting Riga a few times but never got round to it, it's a relatively shirt flight from Edinburgh and looks very pretty. Not sure how many on this forum are aware but Estonia is famous for the high quality pianos made there.

Riga is the national capital of Latvia, which borders Estonia to the north. Latvia also shares a maritime border with Sweden to the west. Riga is a beautiful city and Latvia is a beautiful Baltic country, and I would imagine so is Estonia to the north.

And congratulations to "Genos" Rick in acquiring his new toy, err, that's just a figure of speak. Arrangers used to literally be toys years ago, but those days are long gone thanks to the advancements in technology and sound sampling, etc. Enjoy! 👍

All the best, Mike USA

Yes, Riga is reputed to be very nice and has become a short stay vacation destination from Scotland, direct fairly short flights, The island that I believe metsasarv lives on is in the Bay of Riga, although the island is actually in Estonia and Riga is in Latvia. I had a hold on a Baltic cruise a couple of years back that  stopped at all those places but Covid came along and cruises all got cancelled. Maybe one day.
Amazing range of people we have non this forum, living all over the world.

BTW, Estonia grand pianos have the reputation of being very close to a Steinway in quality and tone but at way less than half the price. Never had a chance to play one, but other folks on a piano forum I used to belong to claimed they were outstanding. One of the members said he flew to Estonia (Tallin) to see his being built in the factory after he ordered it.
