A little gift from me: Pack that I'm still developing to try

Hello guys,
Freely sharing with you a pack that I'm developing for you to try out on your keyboards.
It's not ready yet and the way I want it.
It's some lead synths I sampled from my Roland jx-1 and a lead voice from an old Native Instruments plugin called "pro 53".
It turns out that, for some voices, I couldn't activate the legato mode when leaving it in monophonic. I make this adjustment in YEM, check the monophonic option in portamento detail and choose legato, but when I close the program And generate the installation file, for some reason, it goes back to monophonic only.
Anyway, here's the link: :)

Thank you for sharing this pack, Gabriel!

For/on which keyboard model did you originally create/test this pack? Genos?

Best regards,
Chris

Hi chris!
As the pack only contains sampled voices, I believe it runs perfectly on Genos. I created it to use personally on my Tyros5.
I shared it with you to try to find out the reason why I am not able to use legato mode in some voices.

Gabriel

Thanks for clarfication, Gabriel!

One more question: Which YEM version did you use? The current version 2.8.1?

Best regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Yes, it's the latest version (2.8.1).
The synths I want to put legato into monofonic mode are named "Super Sync Lead" and "SYN LEAD 2".
Both have two versions with different delay times, but I can't activate legato mode on either one.
As the pack is in ppf format, you can try to activate it through the software, but with me, after I save the changes, if I close the software and open it again, it goes back to being monophonic, without legato.
In the same way this happens when I generate an installation file to test on the keyboard.

Gabriel

I loaded it in yem then saved it to use on my psr s770 it saved as a cpi file and once i loaded it it they did not exist in my s770. I even changed the cpi to ppi extention and same results. other voices I created myself is all that loaded. and if you want you can send the vce files too so i can save them in my user drive.

Will it work on a Tyros 4 ???

Thanks in advance

Hi dE.niz,

The short answer is NO.

Tyros4 uses a completely different Custom Voice format (.UVN / .UVD voice files and .UVI library files) and is therefore not compatible with the YEM (Yamaha Expansion Manager) and its file formats like .ppf / .ppi. YEM-compatible models are e.g. Tyros5, Genos, PSR-Sx7x, PSR-SX900/700/600.

Best regards,
Chris
