Hi I have been a member since 2009, and noticed on many occasions that my local time is about 8 hours wrong. I have looked at my profile and can't see where to make the amendment

You can modify the time setting under "Look and Layout", Steve.

As you've already figured out, all time on our forum is reckoned from "Greenwich Mean Time", Steve.
