Hi, I have many midi files without right hand score but only with left hand score.
I have a Yamaha PSR S770.
Any solution?
Thanks

Hi,

You can try to import a midi file with musescore3 on your pc to
check if your midi file is correct. I'm not sure but I think that your
keyboard puts the right hand and the left hand scores in different tracks.

It's unlikely the files are missing the right hand score. What's more likely is it's on a different track than the keyboard is assuming.

There's a button that allows you to select the track for the right hand. Use it to find the track you need. You'll have to experiment a little, but it won't take long.

Hi rock123456789,

Please download the PSR-S770 Reference Manual here:
>>> https://uk.yamaha.com/en/support/manuals/index.html?l=en&c=keyboards&k=Psr-s770

Then please read pages 49 - 51 "Editing Music Notation (Score) Settings" in this Reference Manual. There you will find all needed information, e.g.  changing the Score display as desired to suit your personal preferences and saving the Score settings to the MIDI Song data.

By the way, in many commercial MIDI files, the melody part is either on channel 1 or channel 4. I would check these two channels first. You can also switch the channels one after the other to "Solo" in the Mixer (Mixing Console) (see page 56 in the S770 Owner's Manual).

Best regards,
Chris
