First off thank you John (ugawoga) for your help it is much appreciated.

Hopefully this weekend I will be auditioning the Adams T8V and The Focal 6EVO Studio Monitors, I will be buying one or the other, the Adams are around £378 - £412 pair the Focal are £530 pair with stands
There is a comparison on youtube between adams T7V & the Focal and there was not much difference.
I have ruled out Yamaha HS8 and as I do not go gigging I have ruled out the Yamaha stagepas 400BT although that seems a nice addition if I was to go gigging in small venues.

Hopefully I will come back here and let you know what monitors I have bought.
The next purchase will be the new Genos when it comes out  :-\

Not sure where you are in your final decision, but since you are looking at quite high end, thought I would throw in that the best studio monitors I have heard are my brother's Genelec. They are best described as being in the 'wow, what a sound' range,  especially on vocals. Not sure about the price though so maybe they are outside your budget.

Hi Mike thanks for your Genelec mention yes they are a nice sounding speaker (8030) would be the one to go for but they are £995 paired with stands. I was a bit hard pushed to go to £530 for the focals but they both are quality monitors and at the moment the focals are winning in budget for the sound. This is a mine field and I guess I have to listen to them all and choose what pleases my ears, where I will be going to audition them  the company seem to have genelec, focal and adams to try out on a Genos so will find out on Sunday

Looking at the specs his are quite a lot bigger than the 8030, and I think they may be the the 8050 or maybe whatever preceded them because I know they are at least 7 years old. I didn't realize how expensive these speakers  were although he did tell me his two Neumann mics cost thousands.
His whole studio is a top level work of art, and unfortunately he passed away last year. His wife is reluctant to change anything, so it just all sits there, unused.

Sorry to hear of your loss Mike, that's a shame that the studio will be left as it is but people grieve in many ways.
The Genelec's can be crazy money the Genelec 8361 AP is over £4K that is just for one, there are other makes like ATC a pair of ATC SCM100A Pro cost around £15K which makes my purchase ridiculously cheap. I currently am using the TRS-MS05 speakers that came with the Tyros 5, and it's time for an upgrade, so as I am nearing to getting a second keyboard I want to remove the satellite speakers from the Tyros so the second keyboard can sit closer above it.
