Hey everyone,

last week, I was in Germany, and at a train station, I found a magazine (Keys or something similar) in a magazine shop, where there was an interview with someone from Yamaha, who said that 2022/23 will be a year of workstations and Genos. He even mentioned there are four seasons, and with a bit of luck there might be a surprise in each. He said the first one will be online masterclasses / streams that will help endusers get the most of their instrument.

I didn't get the magazine (just quickly scanned the interview) - isn't there someone here who has it and knows if he mentioned something else too? And any ideas what might the other surprises be? Fingers crossed for a big software update ;)

Hi :

Thank you for this thread.

KEYS is a German magazine. Correct. See : Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login

Maybe one of our German friends does know much more about the article and ... is willing to help ? Cross my fingers.

Hi Etienne :

You are right.
Yamaha personnel, management and dealers NEVER talk about future plans etc. They all signed an agreement.

All the best, JH

Just tried googling a bit, and it wasn't keys magazine, it was this one: Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login

There is actually one page of the interview between the preview sites, where he's mentioning the online master classes :) But as I've mentioned, didn't have enough time to read it all - so if anyone has, is there anything else interesting? :)

Checked that link of that new German magazine.

IMHO they only talk about the lower priced keyboards and not about high end arranger keyboards, right ?
