Hello guys!

It seems that the Brazilian family has another child!
I listened to the styles and liked it a lot.

Brazilian styles are being recorded by Brazilian programmers, in that yamaha got it right. Before, yamaha used a style recorded by people from other countries (Japan or USA for example), who didn't understand Brazilian styles and were very lacking.
What I think programmers are still missing is in the details. Style OTS are not programmed for commonly used voices. The intros are modified, for copyright reasons, but it could come with a chord sequence that would allow playing the intro with the right hand, of the songs suggested in the style. The style name images are also very poorly chosen in my opinion and could come with the generic "Latin" symbol of yamaha's new styles. The used drum kits are still old kits like the "AcousticKit".
I always do all these OTS swap edits, name, image, drum kit, etc... to give it a final finish.

Thank you all.
Quick question: looking at the web page, I see other packs like the brasilian gospel...
Was it posted already? Never heard of it so far.

Regards

It's possible to install it on the A5000?

Hi Dievas,

No, unfortunately this is not possible. The "Brega Brasil" Pack comes (like most of the newer Yamaha Packs) in protected .cpf format. Currently there are only versions for Genos and PSR-SX models.

By the way: When the Pack is installed on a Genos, the Styles can be copied (in USB storage mode). Maybe a fellow musician can do this for you. These Styles would probably have to be edited a bit for use on the PSR-A5000.

Best regards,
Chris
