I have recorded a number of MIDI song on my EW410. By saving USR, I believe the MIDI songs are included in this USR file.
How can I extract individual MIDI songs from this USR file ?
Please help.

Hi tyros2009,

As far as I know it is not possible to extract user songs from .USR files. But you can save a recorded song on the E463/EW410 as a MIDI file on a USB stick. Please see page 73 in the Owner's Manual ("Saving a User Song as SMF to a
USB Flash Drive").

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Hi Chris,
thanks for your tip. It works for me.
Kind of strange that E463 / EW410 does not have MIDI songs as individual file in the USERS folder.

This MIDI song stuff on EW-410 is now things of the past as I SOLD the EW-410.
I still have an E443 (for students), but this one has a defective USB port. It does not recognize any USB drive I put in.

Are you sure the USB drive is defective? Just use a relatively small size USB drive and try formatting it with the keyboard. If this works, you can go to your midi files, highlight them, and copy and paste them to the USB drive.

Hope this helps,
