How to hold R1 note after releasing key ?

Friends,
Is it posssible to hold the note for some time after key is released for Right hand voice and also getting shrill sound on Genos. I need this sound which is played on PSR 970 keyboard youtube video at timing 7:20.

Assign sostenuto to a pedal for the part required. When you want that part to continue sounding ensure you press the pedal while the note is still pressed. Now you can release the note and the voice wlll continue to sound until you release the pedal (or if it is a Voice that naturally dies away like a piano... until it naturally dies away).
Sustain will also do it of course but then if you go on to play other notes with the freed up hand they will all start to sustain too which may not be what is required, hence the sostenuto suggestion for a more targeted effect to avoid this.
