Hi Everyone,  this is my first question as a newbie!    Could someone please explain that when I go
on chord looper the words import and export appear?  I haven't found any mention of this in the manuals.
       Thanks for any help.      Richard

Hi, Richard!

You can find the explanation on the "Reference Manual" for the PSR-SX900, which is (only) available on-line, and is a fundamental resource for handling these keyboards! If you haven't done this already, visit the yamaha web-site, and download the Reference Handbook as well as the Data List for the keyboard. You might even want to print these manuals (I certainly did!  ;)). A direct link to the UK download site is: https://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/musical_instruments/keyboards/arranger_workstations/psr-sx900/downloads.html#product-tabs. While you are at it, you can download (and install) the latest firmware as well.

On page 17 of the Reference Handbook you will find the explanation for the Import/Export buttons: basically, this allows you to save/load each of the 8 Chord Looper memories individually (the Save on top is to save the whole bank of 8 memories). This can be useful to reorganize or reuse the individual chord sequences.

Hope this helps. Regards!

Many thanks Andres,     That's helped me a lot.  I guess I should have worked that out but reading your explanation has really nailed it.   Much appreciated.
     Kind regards from Richard
