Hi.

I have PSR SX900 and I try to instal Balkan extension pack. I understand, that you must have YEM on computer in order to install, right? Or can I do it some other way? Becouse I have very old Imac with El capitan OS and I can not upgrade anymore. So, I can not install any od YEM version, I can find for now. Any ideas? Maybe where can I get older version of YEM? On Yamaha web page cant find it.
I understand, that I need YEM with some reason but, is there an option, to install expansion packs from Yamaha page without that?

Thank you for any help.

Welcome to the PSR Tutorial Forum, onsightclimb!

You must use the YEM, unless you only want to install one single Pack and you have the .cpi/.ppi Pack Install file for your keyboard model in addition to the .cpf/.ppf Pack file. However, the downloads of the current Yamaha Packs only contain the Pack file (usually in the protected .cpf format), i.e. no Pack Install file for the individual installation of the Pack.

You can download YEM V2.6.0 for Mac from my Dropbox:
>>> https://www.dropbox.com/s/680b2x0f4z0oz99/yem_v260_mac.zip?dl=0

This version should support macOS 10.15 - Mac OS X 10.11.

Note: Most Yamaha Packs should also work with YEM version 2.6.0, however some very new Packs require YEM 2.8.1.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris
