Vocal over midi file

HELP !!!   I am trying to record a vocal over a midi track. I can load the midi and it plays but when I try to record an audio vocal the backing track doesn't play. What am I doing wrong?

You have to record the midi track to Audio as well as your vocal.

You play the midi, and sing to it. The audio recorder will record both the midi and your voice.
