I'm a little late to the party this year because I was out of town on a trip, but I still wanted to get something posted before Christmas day!  This is my version of Enya's fantastic Christmas song, Magic of the Night.  I believe I posted a recording of this a couple years ago, but this is a new recording.

This was done on a PSR-E433, with bass pedals, which are hardwired to an old Casio MT-68.  My entire set-up is ran through a Boss reverb pedal.  The background style was used only for the drums.

I used Audacity software to record the song to my computer, and only used Audacity's effects to adjust equalization, compression, and level.

Hi Sci- Note

A Nicely played Jarresque sound with some flanging on the strings in there makes for a magical  Mystery tour night

Happy  Christmas and New Year to you.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone!  Enya has long been one of my favorite artists, and when I first heard this song -- on a department store sound system -- it nearly brought tears to my eyes.

Merry Christmas and Happy 2022!

Bob. I'm a big fan of Enya's music, but haven't heard this song.  At 1:19 I was amazed at how you orchestrated it & again at 2:29!  A very impressive arrangement and performance!

Thank you, very much!  That sound that I transition to at those times you noted is a combination of choir and pipe organ, combined with a considerable amount of flange/chorus.  The PSR-E433 has 8 banks of 4 presets, and I have one bank dedicated to the music of Enya (though, of course, I do use those sounds for other songs, where appropriate, as well).  And I probably would have never heard this song if I had not heard it on the department store sound system, as I have all of her main albums (The Celts, Watermark, Shepherd Moons, The Memory of Trees, A Day Without Rain, Amarantine, and Dark Sky Island), and it is not on any of those.  Of course, you can find it on YouTube.  A Google search sometimes relates it to Amarantine, but it is not on that album.  It might be a special Christmas edition of that album that I do not have.
