On the subject of recording

Hello everyone, I do know how to record on the SX700, however what i would like to know is, if there are 2 possible functions available.

1. Is it possible to copy and paste an 8 bar recording so that it fills the entire 3 min track? if so please can you advise please?

2. Is it posible to repeat play an 4 bar track after recording, not quite a looper but similar, (I know there's a looper in th 900), for example you record 4 bars stop the record, press play and it will repeat until stopped, i recall many sequencers had this method of style, is this possible please?

Take a look at the multi-pads - either MIDI multipads or the "audio link multi-pad" feature for audio recordings.

Don't have an SX right now, but I am positive there should be copy paste available (Marking A and B positions)

On a different note, your use case looks more suited for creating custom Style + Accompaniments. You will have 10x flexibility than a sequencer.
