I looking up and getting ready to order accessories for my new keyboard for when it arrives.  I have looked at 61-Key Cases and they are mostly 40" x 16" x 6".  The SX900 is 17" deep.  What types of cases have you purchased for your SX900.   I've been looking and haven't found one yet.

I finally found one.  It's more than I want spend but I need a case.  I was going to delete the now uneeded post but it wouldn't let me.  So I'll leave the link to what I found so if there is anyone else needing a case to fit the SX900 they can look at this one.

Hi matrix1999,

For reasons of stability, I recommend using a keyboard case (not a gigbag). For my two keyboards Genos and Tyros5 I use cases with PVC boards ("honeycomb plastic"). These are significantly lighter than conventional cases with wooden boards. Here is the matching case model for SX900 / 700:

Thomann has (among other brands) also very inexpensive keyboard bags (gigbags) of his own brand "Thomann". However, I can't comment on the quality.

I have always bought a cheap bag and reinforced it myself with thick cardboard.  A lot of gig bags don't give enough protection where it's needed in my opinion

For the last 20 years I have used a heavy vinyl luggage garment bag with full zippers (turned it sideways & added straps for handles), adding sheets of bubble pack inside for a soft lining.

Prior to that I wrapped the keyboard's original cardboard box entirely with clear shipping tape, created an opening on the side of the box, so I could slide the keyboard in, and installed a handle system (made from those plastic handles you can find on larger appliance or TV boxes). I kept and used the styrofoam liners for the padding.

I only go and play gigs part-time though, so if you are travelling with your keyboard a lot it would be worth investing in a proper case or bag.

I had one of those for over 10 years and it served me well.  I've since upgraded to a hard case.

Thanks for all the suggestions.  I am not currently playing gigs at the moment.  I am not needing a really tough case.  I would love to get a hard case but it is not in my budget.  I all will be doing is carrying it to my church from time to time.  I just really need something to help me carry it without risk of scratch.  It won't be going into a trunk or trailer.  I won't even move it all that much.  Just every once in a while.  My biggest issue was finding a bag or basically a cover that fit.  I love the one that was on the German site but they want $89 to ship to the US.  Too bad.  Thanks again for all the comments!

I handle my equipment very carefully and have had success with this simple Yamaha bag:

Because my bag rides on top of my rolling equipment box, I have added several foam strips to the inside bottom of the case.

Over my many years and keyboards, this has been my bag of choice, and I think I'm on my 3rd bag now- which is a tax-deductible item for me.

I was very fortunate to receive this case as a Christmas present and can thoroughly recommend it!

That's a nice gift!  It's out of my range.  If I was playing gigs regularly I would spring for a stronger case.  Maybe Santa will bring me one of these! 😄

I have a Gator soft bag for the Tyros and S975, and the Yamaha bag made for Genos for that. This bag is also relatively soft, but has wheels. The hardcase bags are big and take a lot of space. A soft bag can be folded up and put away nicely when not in use.

I've been using the Gator GKB-61 since buying the S970 when it first came out. It can comfortably fit the keyboard, a folded X stand and extensions. The front pocket is useful for your cables and Psu, head mic etc. The Sx900 fits it perfectly too and it's very strong and long lasting. I love it :)
