Dear Friends,

Can someone please tell me what exactly is the benefit of the StyleMagic software if I already can create and edit styles in my Genos directly? ... I mean why the staring in front of a computer screen just to create styles? .. I am staring enough at my DAW all the time.

Your responses are highly respected and appreciated.

StyleMagic is a great style editor... it makes editing styles a real pleasure and is much easier than trying to edit styles on the keyboard.

Well worth the money you will spend.

Is there an user manual showing how to do various operations with this software.
I watched the midi2styles video and cannot understand it.

I Believe in the K.I.S.S. Principle.

There is no cloud. It is storage space
                     on someones computer.

You can get the manual on the Midisoft web page from the menu heading 'Technical':

Thanks for the link to the manual. I downloaded it to my computer. After walking thru the manual, I found that no section explains how to convert a midi file to an style intro / ending. This is the feature I really want to have.

As the video shows, you can use the Channels Manager to first transpose the song to C scale. And move channels to the proper channel/part for the style.  Then go to multieditor (piano roll) and place a Intro Marker at the beginning of the measure where you want the Intro to start and an End Marker where you want the Intro to end. If that's all you want to create, then you can convert the MIDI to a style at that point and save the style with just an Intro. You can copy the Intro to the Ending in the Sections Manager also.  Then Export the Intro to your computer HD.

Now... Load the style you want to modify. In Sections Manager; delete the Intro you don't want and Import the Intro you just created to replace it.

You can download the demo and try this for yourself.  You can't save any work but you can practice using the program to see if you wish to buy it.

Thanks for the link to this youtube video. I am glad StyleMagic YA has all these features. The price is reasonable so I will purchase it and start using it.

Does StyleMagic create Styles from midi ?

Absolutely, what i do is to make a midi in Cubase with a template i created and then, export it to the StyleMagicYA and it works perfectly.
