YEM: I listen to samples with motu828 mk2 sound card, result is croaking.
How to solve?

Much better to listen through your keyboard.

Hi bernamato,

did you properly install the Audio Driver for the Motu Audio interface on the computer?

Does the Motu Audio interface work normally with other apps on the computer? Then it should actually work if you set the Motu as the Audio output device of the YEM.

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Yes, the Motu runs well on the other app.
On YEM I set the output to MOTU but it sounds bad.
If I set yem to the output of internal mac audio it sounds good.
I didn't resolve this issue.
Tks for your help.

Did you use AIO4ALL ?
If yes try to reduce the "ASIO Buffer Size"
Mine is at 512 Samples and works fine, but I know for sure that every  audio interface needs different size so maybe 512 it is not the right in your case, so you have to try different settings.

This is actually not possible... When you use YEM for editing (or just sounds preview) the only way to listen is via your computer audio interface!

Hi

Make sure you have not got the french version!! ;D
Genos, I7 computer 32 gig ram, Focusrite 6i6, Cubase controller, Focal Alpha Monitors, Yamaha DXR8 Speakers
Cubase 10, Sonarworks, Izotope.  Sampletank, Arturia and Korg software.  Now IK Mixbox

I solved it using loopback app. I send the audio signal to the internal speaker and listen to it through the MOTU.
Thanks for all your support.
