I have a midi file I programmed in 2006.  It has really nice backing in the style I used.
Is there any way I can identify the style that I used.
I am currently working with Tyros 4 and Genos.

I think I may have recorded the midi file on the Psr3000 but not 100% are .

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Frank,

if you are on Windows (not Mac), I suggest to do as follows:

- If not alrady done, download and install "MixMaster V19r1":
>>> https://psrtutorial.com/MB/mixMaster.html

- Start MixMaster.
- Click on "Open File" button to load your MIDI file.
- Click on "List View" button.
- Increase the Width of the "List View" window (so that longer entries in the "Data" column are not cut off on the right-hand side).

- If you are lucky, you will see a Sy*** string marked "Acmp Style". On the far right of this line you will find the corresponding Style name. (See also the attached picture.)

- When closing MixMaster, be careful not to save.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Over over;
Thank you so much.  I will give it a try.

Chris;
I am using Mixcraft recording software.
I read your instructions and I wandered around in my program and I found out
That the style I used is Country Rock.
Now I can set up my original song with the similar back up.
I dropped the tempo to 70 on this one.
Very helpful and I thank you so much.
