Hi, I am new to this forum so apologies if I am in the wrong place.
I have just bought a new PSR-SX700 and I have to say as a piano and keyboard player that hasn't played for 20 years plus (Roland U20, Korg O1/W) I am truly amazed how far the technology has come!
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a Lap Steel Guitar voice? It does come with a Steel Guitar so just wondering if it is a case of learning the skillfully use the joystick to acheive that bending sound or if there is a specific voice for that!?
Secondly, I was also looking for Irish Uilleann Pipes if anyone knows where I can get that voice?
Many thanks! Richard

Welcome to the forum!! You will find this is the ONLY place you need for Information and instructions regarding you new keyboard.

If there is an Irish Uilleann Pipes available (or something close), it would be in this free Celtic pack.

There are dozens of free addon packs with more styles and voices for your keyboard here for you to download.

As far as the sound of the "Pedal Steel Guitar" and "Aloha Guitar" voices, you are going to have to learn how to bend the notes, simple as that for the answer.

If you strike the KEY hard, you can get a short bend.

I play a lot of Country Music and you can click on my "MP3 Library" Link found in my signature below.

I have been posted 15 Hawaiian Songs the last 3 months. Many of them used the Aloha Guitar voice, you can hear what I have been able accomplish while playing live.

Here is a direct link for you to use as well to hear my posted songs.
