Strange Tempo changes

Hi all,

When I play a song in live mode, all works fine.

In Multi-recording mode, I can record the tracks of the accompaniment of the song.
Then I record the right hand voices, and there I got tempo changes : for example if the tempo of the song is 78, I get a tempo change to 120.
I know that when there a missing information of tempo, it defaults to 120.
It occurs when I change of registration, but there is no tempo change in the registration in question.
The style is not a Genos one, but a style collected on the web.

I read some weeks ago a topic about tempo changes but I don't remember when.

Probably somebody knows this issue  ? ???

For those interested : I have figured out my issue, as a form a workaround.
In the registration in question, I have just changed Main C to Main B for the multi-recording session. And it works fine.
About the root cause, I have not  the skills enough to analyze all the Sy*** to debug.

This can happen if there is tempo control in the Style itself. It can be entered in any Style section (Main A B C D). If the Style you use is made that way, it is the cause of the change in tempo.

OK. Thanks ckobu for your explanation and for the vid.

In fact, is there any recommendation to avoid this issue when using the style and registrations ?

Make sure you have Tempo ticked in freeze section and put freeze button on while using registrations to record.

EileenL,

Thanks for the tip, I have never care about these settings, normal I'm still a newbee and there are so many things to know in a Genos.

FYI:

MixMaster has a Tempo View that gives you a display of a midi or style file's tempo setting.

Just Open the file and depress Tempo view.
