Hi,
Is it possible to use the Registration Manager program to replace the registration settings from a button in one bank with the registration settings from a button in another bank ?
My situation is that on my Genos I have these 8 banks of registrations ( in each bank I have 10 songs - each according to one of the 10 registration buttons) and I want to create a new bank where I take individual registration button information from various banks and create a new set of 10 registrations.
I hope this makes sense.
Any help you can give me with this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark:

That is actually quite an easy task.

When you open YRM, click the button Registration Builder.
Click the button Add Banks
Navigate to the directory containing your 8 banks, and you can use shift click to select a range of banks, or control click to pick individual banks.
You will see a listing of the button contents in the builder screen.
Click on a button in the Builder Screen box and Copy Reg will appear to copy that button's contents to the first empty button in the Load box, or if you select a button that is not empty in the Load box, Copy Reg will replace that button.
You can continue selecting source registrations from the Builder and Copy Reg will add it to the next empty button.
Click Save/Convert and a new bank will be created.

Cheers,

Murray
One can do without most things, but not without the pleasure of music.

I want to take this opportunity to once again thank Murray for an excellent YRM program.
I have one video that shows how to do what Mark is looking for. This is what Murray described in his previous post.

Hi Murray,
Thank you very much for this explanation.
This sounds like it will work well for what I want to do.
I appreciate all your efforts in making this (and other software programs) to aid us keyboard players.

Thank you ckobu for the video link - this describes it exactly!
