Hello,
I'd like to request some styles for the psr-sx900 for several songs.
Rockabye by Sean Paul, i know this style is on the psr-s975 but there are missing parts when i play it in the sx900. Highway to hell, there is cool guitar sounds instead of electric/distortion ones in the genos version. And viva la vida from Coldplay.
Thanks in advance, and sorry if i'm posting in the wrong category.
yamaha extentions files styles for keyboards are as follows:
pst (pianist); pcs(piano combo); sst (session); prs (pro); bcs(basic); fps (free play) and scp (dj style).

Using the onboard style creator program, you can copy that 975 style to your SX-900 and then insert the sounds you wish into the appropriate channels of the style file and save it as a user style.

Good luck,

Unfortunately, i'm a visually impaired person and am using the voice guide function, which doesn't let me modify style.

Hi pika-san,

instead of modifying the Styles, you can also just revoice the desired Style Parts using the Mixer and then memorize all changes to a Registration button (and finally save the Reg Bank file of course) .

Maybe this is easier to do for you than saving a new Style file using Style Creator.

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

The problem is that i don't think the voice guide tells on which channel you're about to edit.

Hello pika-san!
I found two styles for you. You just have to test how they sound on your SX900.
I am no style editor because I am also visually impaired.

By the way, it is a shame that VoiceGuide has so many shortcomings!!
