Does someone know why the Aux-in cannot be saved into a registration?

I thought registration will save ALL the parameters, no?

It seems that the Aux-in setting does not saved into registration. Any tips?

I'm not at my Genos right now, but all settings that are saved to the Registration are displayed when you press the Memory button. If Aux is not there, then its status is not saved.
"Learn" your music correctly, then "practice" it. Don't practice mistakes because you'll learn them.

Not a bug..... but defined in the Datalist on page 83.

So, please let me know when you check because I was
Unable to control Aux in off/on and Volume through the registration.  Information is not being recorded to the registration

Not everything is saved to a registration. The data list defines what is, and isn't, saved.

Hi elad770,

here are a few additions regarding "Data List":

Please use the current Genos Data List (v2.00, filename "genos_en_dl_f0.pdf"). Download here if required:
>>> https://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/musical_instruments/keyboards/arranger_workstations/genos/downloads.html#product-tabs

Open the PDF file on your computer and go to the "Parameter Chart" section (page 82).

Scroll down a bit: On page 83 you will find the parameter "Volume (AUX in)" a few lines below the heading "Pan / Volume".

As you can see, this parameter is part of the System Backup (circle icon in the column "Backup/Restore", and it is saved (automatically) to the System Setup (circle in the "Setup / System" column) next to it.

And as you also can see, there is an "X" in all other columns. This means that the "Volume (AUX in)" parameter can NOT be saved anywhere else. (See also the attached picture.)

Best regards,
Chris

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
