left voice

whether the left button is pressed or not, light lit or not it sounds the same with the chords.
what am i missing?

edit: sometimes there clearly is a difference!

select a voice on left
use the mixer to set the volume and save it
you can also select hold, 
the sound stays untill the next chord change
