I've recently started using Yamaha's XGWorks to edit MIDI drum patterns and it works well and is easy to use. You can change volume for each instrument or do it in groups by selecting several instruments. Excellent documentation as a PDF file is included in the installation.

Hi Luis,

there are many PC programs for editing MIDI files. But before I call such programs here, please allow the following question: Why don't you just use the mixer on the Genos or the list editor in "MIDI Multi Recording" to edit your MIDI files as you wish?

Please click on this picture to download the Yamaha Brochure "Genos MIDI Song File Editing" (English version):

Edit:
I just saw that you live in Brazil. This Brochure is also available in Spanish:

(I know that Portuguese is spoken in Brazil, but as far as I know, many Brazilians understand Spanish too. :) )

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
