Chord data track in Cubase

When I import a midi file created on Genos into Cubase, I see an additional track in Cubase called chord data. I thought that this would let me edit the chord structure in the same manor that I can do on the Genos via the step edit function.
However, there seams to be no midi data in that track, or at least I cannot see any, so I am not sure what its used for. Anyone knows?

Thanks

you can do a lot with chord data, search on youtube for tutorials with the name: Cubase Chord Track

Then you can see what you can do with it.

So is the empty chord data track created per default in Cubase after importing a midi file? Like I said, I don't see any midi data in the track at all. I am aware of the chord track and chord pad functions in Cubase. Just trying to understand if this chord data track actually has anything to do with the style data that I recorded on the Genos or if it's just an empty default track.

Thanks

I suppose you recorded the song using the chord track.

It is not empty, if you use the list editor you will see the chord symbos ( also in Score editor). Unfortunately, the chords are not stored as MIDI and only show on cubase as symbols.
