If I try to download a sheet e.g. this one: Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login
it forces me to take (a free trial of) the paid musescore pro.  :'(

Does anyone has the same problem?

This is an email sent to me from Musescore on 6th March. As from 13th March, Musescore downloads are no longer free.

Hello,

My name is David Mandelshtam. I am the CPO of MuseScore, and I have some important news. From this moment, you have 7 days to print & download all the scores you need.

I need to say that we have already closed print & download options for the basic accounts as of July 14th. You can read the details about this situation here (Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login).

We saved your personal privileges as the loyal MuseScore user until this final moment. Score downloading and printing feature will become a part of the PRO subscription after March 13th.

We've been delaying this moment as long as possible, but now we are forced to make changes and fully comply with the licensing agreements with copyright owners to continue developing our products at a higher quality.

Thanks for the info, Roy. I didn't receive such email.
For a free trial you have to give your creditcardnumber and you will be charged after 30 days.

There are some MuseScore users on this forum, including me...
You can always ask if any of us have the music you are looking for (on the Sheet Music & Lead Sheets board under Essential Extras).

Most of what I have are "lead" or "fake" sheets - only the melodies, chord names and lyrics show.
And they date from the 1920's to the early 2000's.
