Direct audio file transfer from Genos to (Windows) computer

Is there any way to directly transfer audio (.wav or .mp3 files) from the Genos hard drive or USB flash inserted drives to a Windows computer?
I am removing and re-inserting my USB flash drive several times a day and fear that overdoing this
will cause damage to the housing of the USB ports on my Genos.
Does anyone know if there are any future plans to have such connectivity?

Hi
Many just use a short male to female USB chord so that you are not unplugging on the keyboard itself. These are relatively inexpensive.

I have removed my USB stick many times everyday for the past many years
I haven't had any problems
It's the quickest way to get 'audio' transferred to your PC

Audio from PC to the keyboard requires a 3.5 jack cable to the 'Aux' in
Very quick and good for practicing songs using the A-B looper

These are the short 1-foot USB extension cables that I use with Genos and PSR-S970 to prevent any wear and tear of the USB ports of the keyboards:

If you want to transfer your wav or mp3 files between your computer and the User storage area of your Genos, you can use a USB printer cable to connect the Genos "To Host" port to your computer, press the "Playlist" button while powering the Genos up through USB storage mode.  See P. 152 of the Genos Reference Manual revision D.  Here is the download link if you have not downloaded it yet:

An alternative is to store the audio on the User drive, then use USB Storage Mode (power on + Playlist) to transfer the file.

Thanks everyone for your feedback.
Paul, your point to look at page 152 of the reference manual did the trick.  Didn't get that far in the manual before.
I already had my computer and Genos connected via USB to USB host terminal.
It was just a question of how to enter (and exit) USB Storage mode properly.
thx.

I had the same concern about wearing out the USB port. Here's the perfect solution. Connect the computer and the Genos and a flash drive to this device and simply press a button on device to switch between the computer and the Genos. No more plugging and unplugging. Works perfectly. No power supply needed.

I'm happy with this solution, too. I use short extensions everywhere now, including desktop computers. Buy in builk. Can't beat the price!

I also use an extension cable. Take it everywhere now.
