Dear all.
A couple of styles that I use has a very loud bass drum thump,Is there anyway I can turn the volume down.
Thank you
John.

Janus

You need a style editor
select the bassdrum notes in the drum track  and set the expression controller in a lower value

You can easily change the volume using your keyboard and here is a "how to" I created to teach folks:

In that way you have to set the volume of every bassdrum note that's a hell of a job
With te expression controller you can set all the bassdrum notes in once

Which model are you using?

More recent ones (S970 onwards, Genos) have a drum setup option within the style creator which allows you to change individual drum sounds in the pattern.

He is asking to tweak the volume in a Style Part which is usually 4 measures, tops. He is wanting to reduce one of drums not al lthe parts. So, like 30 second or else the correction is easily done on your keyboard.  ;)

"Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill" as folks say around these parts of the country. ;D
