Can Genos/SX900 styles be converted to work on Tyros2?

Is this or will this ever be possible in some way..?
There are a few styles from my genos/sx900 I would love to play in some way on my T2
if that could ever be possible to any degree?

thoughts?

Well... if you like challenges this is the right one to take.
In my opinion there are too many keyboard generations in-between to recover.

Hugest T2 gaps are:
  SFF1 style format
Significant amount of missing voices (Mega, Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login,Drum kits etc.)
    Limited DSP capability

At the end of the story it would be difficult to maintain the "edge" or those styles,
so they would sound closely to the T2 ones...

But the very last word is on your side, it depends what your scope is.

Simon all good points.....but I am sure some of the style wizard Gurus eg: Onacimus' etc, etc, here on the forum and with today's technology & programs could figure a way to convert them to work on the Tyros 2 in some manner even if its in its simplest form and retain the style groove using T2 voices in the mix?...I hope some of them are reading this and would consider it.....after all everything else Yamaha is converted why not T2 also.

thanx for the reply

Simone1972 - Spot on,

If you couldn't get the Genos or the SX-900 to make "sweet music" then I wouldn't think the Tyros 2 has any chance at all. 😀

Pino...i just want to grab a few of the newer styles from sx900/genos etc converted to T2  SF1 format
don't kid yourself the T2 can still hang with the big boys...if you know how.

They can be converted. It is a lot of work, and the Tyros 2 will not sound like a Genos when you play them. But why should it? The Tyros 2 is a fine instrument in its own right.
