Hi,

I am trying to setup midi multi recording and save my settings
so that I later can use them with Cubase, like a template.

Here's what I am doing.
In Midi Multi recording I go to Mixer and the Song tab and assign some instrument to channel 1-8.
I insert a couple of effects and make some volume adjustments.
I then back out from the mixer and go to setup, select voice, effects and other settings I want to save and then Execute.
Finally I save the song.

The problem is that if I select another song and then go back to the first one, the voices and mixer levels are not saved.
The only thing that seams to be properly saved is the insert effect.

Have I missed anything or do I actually need to record the voices in Genos midi recorder first in order to save the voices and the mixer settings?

Thanks

Hi Jugge,

It seems that settings are only saved for those channels containing note events when you save a MIDI from Song Creator, so you need to record something on any channel that you want to save in a song.

However just a single note will do, which you can delete later, once you have recorded some 'real' data on the channel.

Yes, it seams like Setup > Execute only affect already recorded notes.
I can work with that. Just wanted to make sure I didn't missed anything obvious  :D

Thanks
