V2.0 has reduced font sizes for text files

For whatever reason, V2.0 has reduced the font sizes available in text files.

I've used Proportional Large since I got the Genos, and developed all my text files so they filled the display. In version 2.0, they don't. It looks to me like the old size was about 24, and the new is around 20.

So I've decided to go back to 1.41. It's more important that my audience can see the lyrics than anything they've added in 2.0.

Cheers,
Fred

How does one revert to 1.4 if the need arises?

It is unfortunate and incomprehensible that the text size has now been reduced.
This must be annoying for many people, especially for those who play live in
front of people, where there is no room for mistakes or hesitation when reading
song lyrics.

It really would have been nice to have one's cake and be able to eat it too.

Best Regards,

Abby.

You can actually revert to 1.41? We can't revert from 1.41 to 1.40. What changed?
"Learn" your music correctly, then "practice" it. Don't practice mistakes because you'll learn them.

There are 6 font-sizes in stead of 3. I had the same issue (text didn't fit anymore), but when selecting "Small" everything is showing again.

I didn't see any difference in the number of fonts available. There have always been three fixed, and three proportional sizes.

Regardless, why did Yamaha feel it was necessary to change the font sizes? Everyone who has text files designed for a certain font will be impacted.
