Hello. I need some help to  change key in a Style. The original is in the key of  A minor.... I need the key of D minor.
Is there an easy way to do it? I think that you can do it on the Tyros as well but I think is quite unnerving. LOL
Any kind soul out there that can point me to some software or a method to do that.
Thanks in advance.
By the way I am attaching the styles in the A minor key that I need to be changed in the key of D minor.
Regards.

Don't styles support all keys?

Every style I've ever used can be played in any key.

Just play the song in whatever key you want. The style should adapt to your left hand chords.

Cheers,

You don't need to change the key of a style to play in a different key.  They play in the key you choose. You either play it ine new key or use the transpose.
Styles in fact are are usually written in the key of C. The keyboard software works out by algorithms how to transpose every note.

If you say so then I am really happy.... I asked because the name of the style was:  Love_Is_Blue_Amkey_TY2.S457
So I was thinkog that maybe you needed to play it in that key.  :)
Well I will give it a try. Thanks again to the all of you.
Always kind e gentle people.

Most likely the person who customized the style for this song just named it with the title and the key he normally played it in as a reminder. You will probably find this is no more than a slightly edited and re-named pre set style. Maybe no more than the tempo. Many people do this, save the style as a song name so they can easily find it when playing a gig.

Aldus - I have to ask, why post this question before you actually tried to play the style?

I have tried the style but didn't seem to play very good.... But I made a mistake then and I apologize.

There is no mistake in asking a question around here on the forum, that is how you learn.  ;)

Just ask away! ;D
