Hello Everyone,
I was given a Mic for use on my Tyros 2 But i am getting a horrible Buzzing sound from it. The Mic works fine on my friends Tyros 3.
ut if I touch and hold one of the screws on the back on the keyboard the buzzing goes away(Grounding I guess).
Does this mean my tyros is broke?

No, it just means you have a ground fault hum. Google for solutions.

I'm betting if you connect your T2 to your friend's power source, the problem disappears.

Can you take your keyboard to your friend's place and try it there? Also try using his power cord.

Fred
