Genos digital vs analog outputs

Hi,

When recording audio to a DAW, do you use the line or the digital outputs from Genos?

I am using a Yamaha AG06 mixer as an audio interface, but it's lacking digital inputs.

Just wonder if you think it would be worth investing in a new interface with digital inputs or if
the quality difference would be minimal.

Would be interesting to hear if someone have tried both and compared the result.

Thanks

The main difference between analogue out and digital out is the fact that an analogue signal path is much more prone to interference from the outside..  espescially when cables get longer...

I have the analogue outputs for monitoring through my mixer, and the digital output goes into my Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 DSP audio interface - this ensures my DAW records the cleanest signal.  In terms of differences in sound quality, the analogue output is very slightly warmer but that's probably more my audio interface than the Genos. Both sets of output are very high fidelity and plenty of dynamic range also.
