Do I need a PC for Expansion packs?

I don't have any expansion packs and would like to explore them. As I understand it, one needs a Windows computer to do something with it before it is put into one's keyboard. Is this correct or not? I'm a Mac user.

Hi Henry,
Yamaha Expansion Manager is the program you need on your pc to manage your expansion packs.

Here is the version for Mac users:
Yamaha Expansion Manager V2.5.2 for Mac OS X 10.11 - macOS 10.13

System Requirements
- OS: Mac OS X 10.11.x / macOS 10.12.x / macOS 10.13.x
* Correct operation cannot be guaranteed with Windows® installed on a Macintosh® computer using the Boot Camp utility.
- CPU: Intel® Core 2 Duo or better
- RAM: 1 GB or more
- Hard Disk: At least 500 MB of free space (Additional space is required for storing Pack data.)
- Display: Resolution of 1,280 x 800 or better, full color (32-bit)
