In regards to Midi Ports.

I was able to record Right hand 1,
At the same time the Song Section would play too.

So it's going to the DAW and coming back to the keyboard.
Need to fix it.

Also Faders on the DAW, Control the Mixing Console on the Keyboard,
But can't get it to work the other way around.

Need to fix this ASAP,
Thank you in advance!
Regards Norman!

I'm still figuring it out.

Surprisingly, I found Add Midi device ,
There was a whole list of Keyboards,
All of the Arranger Keyboards and the 770

But I still need some step by step guide.

Take a look at the settings in the MIDI configuration (ALL PARTS is a good place to start) You can set the parameters for transmit and receive and save it as a User MIDI configuration.

Also, select ANY Voice and open Voice Set.  When you have your MIDI Configuration setup they way you want, you can adjust any parameters in the Voice Set file and they will be transmitted to your DAW.

Also there is a function on your keyboard to use it as a controller keyboard.

FUNCTION > Voice Set Filter... Turn Off all Voice Set parameters for R1.  Now when you choose a Voice, the Voice Set File will not be loaded.  This way you can use the Voice Set parameters in place of the Mixing Console if you like. (more parameters and more options)

When in Voice Set, select any parameter, then use the Data Wheel (or the buttons if you like) to adjust the parameter of choice.  When you are working in your DAW, you can keep the Voice Set screen open to make remote adjustments in your DAW.  For now, this is the best option for Cubase - Arranger integration and using the arranger as a MIDI controller.

With the Genos, I assume you can use those knobs and faders to control Cubase, but on our PSRs we just have 2 knobs (not everything is transmitted over MIDI), so the only way is Voice Set.

Don't feel bad... MIDI is tricky, you have to document what your doing... even then its possible to get weird things happening with MIDI.  A MIDI loop is the worst, it will crash an instrument in a second. A MIDI loop is created when you have a MIDI Thru turned on... it's like feedback from a guitar amp.

If I'm not watching what I'm doing in my experiments things can get really screwy and I have think about my MIDI routing a lot.  MIDI is like the weather in California.  When it's working it great, when we do something wrong it's a mess.  (like sending the wrong sy*** message)  Even after 28 years of working with MIDI, I can have problems because I don't work with it everyday anymore. When something gets weird, I have to think about it.

I think in your case, it's probably a setting with your keyboard MIDI configuration or maybe the MIDI Thru is turned on in Cubase. I don't work much with a DAW. I'm a hardware guy. I use my Peavey controller everyday to adjust parameters not easily accessed from the front panel of my instruments.
