Currently using Logitech Z5300 speakers with subwoofer. Like the sound but really want to know if studio monitors or some other set up would improve the sound.
Really working on getting the best sound in my music room on my PSR S 975.
I do not gig and have a dedicated room that is 12x15 feet and 14 foot ceiling.
Heard good things about the JBL 305 and 308s. Anyone using them here?
Are the 5 inch version big enough or is 8 inch the standard?
Any and all recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I recently purchased the 306 mkII - It's the sweet spot for me! Sounds really good and affordable price
I think the 305 is not going to give you the extra punch as much as the 306
the 308 is unnecessary overkill, especially if you have a sub

I purchased a Pair with stands Headset and Microphone for 326$ - NoT Bad....

In reality, the best sounds will likely be from the keyboard's onboard sound system and speakers when playing in a room that small. It is about the same size as my office, however my ceiling height is just 8 feet, which should have no bearing on the overall sound.

If you are going to be recording, I strongly suggest using a high-quality headset.

Good luck,

Hi

Genelec Studio Monitors 8030C all day long!
If budget tight, 8020's. I've used both. 8020's with my T5.
Genelec have incredible power, being dual active amps. Use on Konig & Meyer stands. Speakers are solid metal, but compact.
You need to position so a bit over 1m listening distance . No sub needed. There's plenty!
