Suggestions For Notation Software

Hi Guys,

Being a novice with the keyboard I'm having difficulty interrupting the values of certain music notes in song or tune.

So I'm wondering if there is a software program for Apple Mac I can install which will allow me to manually input the string of notes and their values I'm unsure about and then play them through the program to hear what the string should sound like.

Your help will be appreciated.

I can't recommend MuseScore highly enough. It does everything you say you want it to do.

It's free and there are loads of video help files.
