Hi guys,

I just got a Genos.  :D

Today I played a bit with the Yamaha C7 Studio Grand and I was truly amazed by this voice. You can hear very distinct key noises at low velocities, among other details. This adds an amazing character to the sound!

I'm attaching a cover of one of my all-time favourite songs, Blackbird, using this voice. There is no post-production; everything was done in the Genos. I hope you enjoy!

Nice song, nicely done. But maybe even more important, it's exactly the kind of recording that is great for this forum, because it so well demonstrates a feature of one of these keyboards that should be interesting to many.
On a side note, I have a CVP which has both the C7 and the Bosendorfer grands. Initially I loved the rich tone of the Bosendorfer and still do. But I have become progressively more and more impressed by the C7 for some of the reasons you said. The clarity and tone grows on you. I got a chance to play a real C7 once and the real thing is one heck of an instrument.

Hi Fabio,

Welcome to the forum.

You have a nice voice and play beautifully the piano.

If you wish, you could also post your song in this section of the forum dedicated to music played by the forum members:

https://www.psrtutorial.com/forum/index.php/board,5.0.html

That way more people would see your post and could listen to your music.

Regards,

Vinciane

I've been experimenting with the voices and I will be posting more stuff soon.
