As far as my knowledge goes.
I couldn't a second element done.

Also the Editing software for Sf2 has to be good.
So that you can delete the extra notes.

I somehow need to figure this out...

Sf2 files are a great resouce for high quallity sounds..
(Altough it often feels like searching a pin in a haystack)
But there are some brilliant sounds that would definatelyadd to the Genos..

Finally found some time and converted my first steinway sf2 .. 450mb samples..
I actually ended up with 10 steinway piano's of average quallity at best..
But it worked just fine...

Another problem occurred when playing with the editor..
How can i hear the sounds in yem while i am edditing them?

Next up is finding the high quallity sf2 piano sounds, i was hoping to convert

To hear the sounds double click in your sound that you like and from settings set your Sound Card (Asio Output) and Midi In also.. You can to play (in YEM) via USB cable with Genos which is recognized with name (Digital Workstation)..

Yes it is the same way we did it on Tyros 5.

Need to check when i get home if no other prograns where occupying the audio interface
Which is not a problem on mac.. but could be a problem on windows i suppose

Check this Steinway D-274 soundfont, it has 2+GB samples.

If you manage to make a good piano sound please share it with us.

Current Keyboards: Yamaha Genos

Hi Bachus --

Does clicking a key in the on-screen virtual keyboard produce a sound via the PC speakers? Sometimes the audio settings go south on Windows, anyway.

Take care -- pj

I am sorry from a 1 layer pianosound you can never make a realistic piano. It has to be multilayered...

When you look at the montage/modx its obvious Yamaha decided that 8 layers isn't enough anymore for a top knotch piano sound..
