I have had the PSR s-950 for a few years now.... perhaps I got a lemon, but I did get a little lemonade from it - two CDs with 18 songs, 10 of them my own compositions,

I like to think of myself as a songwriter, but with decent EWI chops.

EWI chops? Like pork chops? - but without the apple sauce?  Who out there knows the EWI?  "Electric Wind Instrument" - and now you know!!

Akai EWI 5000, plus recording gear and gadgets and nothing works like new anymore, not even the new stuff.... I am a bit frustrated in this age of technology due to technology having a corporate smell to it.

Ya, this is me. Hello everyone!!

Hi Edwin, wellcome to the forum! :)

Hello Edwin,

Welcome to the forum. I am not sure if you are complainin' or baggin' in your post.  ;D

But rest assured your little lemon favored S950 is a real work horse. Best to stow the EWI and learn to master the S950. I shelved my Fender Stratocaster when I got my first Yamaha keyboard back in 2004. You can do a whole lot more entertaining with the S950 than any single guitar.
