Having to move to the Newcastle area for work in a few weeks, I am hoping to make some new pals in the area. I was wondering if there were any Yamaha clubs or groups in ornaround Newcaslte. I would love to get some hints and tips that other users may have on these wonderful instruments. I own a Genos and would love to see and hear others ideas and listen to more players whilst learning more about Genos.
Even a music shop recommendation would be superb.

Enjoy your weekend guys

Hi stuart
That would be great thank you very much. We currently live in Cumbria where not much happens but If I can use the power of Genos to find a few pals over in the North east well that'd be great :-)
I would at somepoint like to play for a few folk somewhere but im not sure on that idea just yet, i used to do it all the time when i was younger but now is a different story.

thanks again

Hi

There are two good music shops in Newcastle upon tyne

Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login

PMT has an excellent section on Keyboards upstairs and Windows has a good all round music selection which includes sheet music and keyboards, I can recommend both of them

There is a Keyboard club that meet Burnside Working Mens Club 1 Burnside Working Mens Club & I, Houghton le Spring DH4 6AH, They Meet on the first monday of the month.

Hi,
I live in North Shields & play Genos & other keyboards for Cabaret gigs where I'm the resident MD. I also use it for dancing at a venue in Darlington once a fortnight.

Regards,

Karl

i would love to come and have a listen when we are moved. I would love to hear the Genos being played in a larger venue, see if the sound is much different to what im use to on the small speaker that come with the Genos

Cheers
