Since the Hottest thread right now
Is all about what Yamaha Must do for us I thought to
Change topic.  Nothing major but I was wondering if someone can help find the following style:
Enigma,  Sadness
https://youtu.be/x4maoo4A3x4

I kindly ask for a style that sounds good on my Genos
Sometimes I find styles for older keyboards and it sounds terrible

Thanks in advance

DrakeM

You should not post this and any other STYLE request in this section.

Ask for it in the correct part of the forum STYLE/OTS

Someone will see it there and offer you suggestions much quicker with your post there. ;)

Thank you so much Drake.
I truly apologize,  I simply got confused .
I'm new, promise to get better at this 😁

Many thanks and again, I apologize for locating the thread here.

Unfortunately, these styles are not bringing the best out of my Genos (if you know what i mean)
Need something more professionally done i guess

panos

Hi elad,
try to learn little by little how to use the keyboard's Mixing Console and older styles will sound as brand new.

elad770

You know what panos? I cant believe you said that because you literally read my mind. I know that an old style or a style made for a different model can be tweaked and modified to the correct and modified sounds of the Genos but I dont even know where to start. I wish there was a tutorial showing exactly how to create/Modify a style.  Another big challenge that is VERY time consuming is to try finding familiar sounds.
Yes , yes I know,  My performance should me uniquely mine 😉

But what can I do, sometimes I want a style that sounds exactly like the original track. What I'm trying to say is that I wish there was a tool that can analyze a song and tell you which sounds it's made of.

Hi Elad
There is a tutorial on tuning styles on the main site of the forum and although it is not exactly for the Genos they are all very similar.
http://psrtutorial.com/lessons/tune/index.html
There are also several software programs that will help you. They designed specifically for the Yamaha arrangers -MixMaster
http://psrtutorial.com/MB/mixMaster.html
It is free and an excellent tool. A style contains a section called the CASM and MixMaster will allow you to work on a style without destroying this section while generally a DAW will not.

Keep on learning

Thank you so much.

I will try to work on that

Sincerely
